This was an entry for a scholarship contest... Later I found out they didn't care much about the skill or creativity of an entry as much as the amount of inspiration that was squeezed into the description and it didn't matter how much time I spent on the entry. I'm not saying I'm amazing but some of the finalists were terrible... Pity, good luck to the finalists though.
The description I had: I wanted to draw something that would be symbolic of my future, and that encompassed my two main passions: art and science. The message displayed here is "With effort, education will bring me to success as a medical scientist". Here effort is symbolized by the pulling of the rope, education is represented by the bucket, success is signified as my own home with a pet, and science is demonstrated by the test tube apples.
This looks really cute- although I would not understand what the objects symbolized without the labels, I think it would still make for a very interesting picture without them.
